
Rooted in a longstanding creative partnership between three architects, Studio Dot is a multidisciplinary practice with a presence in Milan, Athens, and Izmir.
After gaining experience in leading architecture firms in Milan, we united our diverse backgrounds to explore the possibilities of architecture and interior design.

Villy Kestsoglou is an architect from Athens, Greece and the co-founder of Studio Dot. She is licensed both by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and the Ordine degli Architetti di Milano (OAMI) in Italy.
She holds both a Master of Science in Architecture – Built Environment Interiors and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design from Politecnico di Milano, graduating with honors. During her studies at Politecnico, she followed various design and research courses, including a design studio led by renowned architect Kazuyo Sejima, developing a project in Japan. Following her studies there, she completed the Itinerant Master’s in Architecture and Museum Design for Archaeology at Accademia Adrianea, during which she participated in workshops across Berlin, New York, Sicily, Rome, and Athens, collaborating with distinguished architecture firms such as Chipperfield Architects on museum renovation and expansion projects.
During her studies she gained experience working in prominent architectural offices in Italy as well as one of the biggest firms in Athens, ISV Architects. Starting her professional career, she joined Asti Architetti, one of Milan’s leading architecture firms, where she followed important residential, office, and mixed-use projects as well as major building renovations, from preliminary feasibility studies through to definitive design and construction phases. During this time, she also participated in several competition-winning projects for both renovation and interior design, working for clients such as important investment funds and companies.
At Studio Dot, she is now engaged in various residential and private luxury projects as well as real estate developments in Greece and Italy. Her work combines technical precision with creative exploration and is supported by strong digital, visual, and hand-crafted design skills. She draws inspiration from the diverse cultural environments she was trained in, merging Italian elegance with a Greek timeless design approach to shape a refined and contemporary architectural vision.
Suna Mertoglu is an architect from İzmir, Turkey, and the co-founder of Studio Dot. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design and a Master of Science in Architecture – Built Environment Interiors from Politecnico di Milano, where she graduated with honors.
During her studies, Suna gained professional experience in both Turkey and Italy, working with leading architecture studios such as Degli Esposti Architetti in Milan and several renowned firms in İzmir. These experiences immersed her in an international and interdisciplinary environment, where she developed strong technical knowledge alongside a sensitivity to architectural context and identity. She contributed to design competitions and conceptual projects that explored contemporary urban transformations and the evolving architectural language of Milan.
After graduation, she joined Park Associati, one of Milan’s leading architecture firms and recipient of the Premio Architetto Italiano 2024. There, she was involved in major public and private developments including Palazzo Sistema following each phase from concept to executive design within a BIM integrated workflow. Her experience spans office, residential, and hospitality projects, shaping a multidisciplinary and technically rigorous design approach.
Suna also completed professional training for BIM specialist in accordance with UNI 11337 standards for the digital management of construction information. This expertise enables her to merge technical precision with design intent, ensuring that every project maintains coherence from concept to execution.
At Studio Dot, Suna continues to integrate her technical expertise with a thoughtful design sensibility, creating projects that balance creativity, functionality, and innovation. Her work reflects a contemporary architectural language rooted in clarity, precision, and a deep respect for context.

Nicolas Rapanakis is an architect from Athens, Greece, and a co-founder of Studio Dot. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Politecnico di Torino and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from the Politecnico di Milano.
From an early age, Nick developed a deep passion for architecture and design, cultivating his creative skills through years of drawing and preparatory art studies before entering university. During his academic years, he completed several internships in distinguished architectural offices in both Turin and Athens, including Isola Architetti, where he gained valuable experience in conceptual design and project development.
Following his studies, Nick joined the Milan-based architectural firm Grace, contributing to a range of museum and residential projects. He later became part of the architectural team at CBRE in Milan, an international multidisciplinary company, where he worked on large-scale refurbishment projects, façade reconstructions, and office fit-outs for global clients within a highly collaborative and multicultural environment.
Today, through Studio Dot, Nick is engaged in various architectural and interior design projects in Greece and Milan, primarily in the residential sector. His approach reflects a balance between creativity and technical precision, informed by his diverse educational background and professional experience across different design cultures
