This project involved the transformation of a one- edroom flat in Milan’s vibrant Città Studi neighborhood, located near Politecnico di Milano University and well-served by various public transport options. The apartment was integrated with an adjacent unit, creating a bright and
functional 70 sqm two-bedroom space. Originally built in the 1960s and untouched since then, the apartment featured outdated finishes, including worn flooring, old windows, and a dated bathroom layout, all of which were fully replaced during the renovation.

The intervention included a complete reconfiguration of the internal layout, the installation of new parquet flooring, updated windows, and the addition of a second bathroom to create a master suite alongside a single bedroom and a shared bathroom.

The design concept focused on maximizing spatial efficiency while introducing a strong identity through bespoke built-in wooden furniture, finished in a distinctive blue tone. Careful attention was given to selecting elegant, durable materials that ensure long-term quality and aesthetic appeal, reinforcing the timeless yet contemporary character of the home.
